INSCI PHILIPPINES SALES & SUPPORT TEAM TRANSFERS

TO UNISYS

Westborough, MA, SINGAPORE and MANILA, PHILIPPINES - September 16, 1998…. INSCI Corp and Unisys Asia Pacific Pte Ltd today announced that they have significantly expanded sales and distribution channels of INSCI products in Asia. The expansion was achieved by extending the existing marketing agreement between INSCI and Unisys, and by transferring the INSCI Philippines subsidiary sales and support team to Unisys Asia Pacific regional operations.

As part of the move, Unisys has created a new Center of Excellence (COE) focusing on marketing and technical support of INSCI COINSERV and other INSCI products and services throughout Asia. Based in Manila, Philippines, the COINSERV marketing and technical support teams report to Ian Selbie, Imaging Program Director for Unisys Asia Pacific regional organization in Singapore.

According to Selbie, "The Imaging Program, which includes Workflow, COLD and systems integration, is identified as a key Unisys program worldwide and this initiative allows Unisys to make a quantum increase in our support capacity. Unisys is already recognized as a market leader in several countries in this region where we have specialized sales and support teams. This expansion allows us to provide backup support to our subsidiaries and business partners and to penetrate more aggressively into other countries."

Involved in the transfer to the Unisys Asia Division are Jose Antonio Pengson, now the Program Sales Manager, Imaging/COINSERV and Tana Abrenica, now the Program Technical Manager, Imaging/COINSERV. Also joining the Unisys team in the field of technical support are Jonathan Perez, Ric Daroya, and Mike Rivera. Transition of all employees took place in the month of August.

"Because of our long standing technology and marketing partnership, the transition from INSCI to Unisys has been extremely smooth and has allowed us to serve our joint customers without interruption," noted Pengson. "We view this move as extremely positive, and one that allows both Unisys and INSCI to better leverage our respective business and technology strengths."

With this move, INSCI has now significantly strengthened its worldwide marketing and sales through Unisys, which already includes strong presence in North America, Europe and Asia/Pacific.
