Moore and INSCI Form Global Partnership to Provide Electronic Document Technology to Moore Customers

Partnership Delivers Cost-Effective Solution for Rapid Search, Retrieval and Viewing of Statement Databases Online and on CD-ROM

LAKE FOREST, IL and WESTBOROUGH, MA - November 21, 1996 - Moore Business Communication Services, a division of Moore Corporation's U.S. subsidiary, and INSCI Corp today announced a joint agreement to provide Moore customers with electronic document archiving services for commercial print datastreams. The alliance will enable companies that outsource statement re-engineering and production to Moore to achieve a competitive advantage by rapidly searching, retrieving and viewing statement databases that are either online or on CD-ROMs produced by Moore. All this can be achieved through Moore's outsourcing services of print and digital technologies at a fraction of the investment needed to set up comparable systems in-house.

Moore Business Communication Services, an IT outsourcer that specializes in complex, high-volume mailing applications, has acquired the rights to install INSCI's electronic document archiving and CD-ROM mastering equipment in any of its global facilities. Moore will charge customers on a per-page basis and will share revenues from the new services with INSCI. Further, INSCI will provide systems installation, customization and software maintenance to Moore on a contractual basis.

Bob Kunio, Vice President of Marketing for Moore Business Communication Services, stated, “INSCI's proven electronic document archiving services add a strategic component to our high technology processing services we can now enable all our customers to access and view exact images of their statements on the Internet in real time, as well as on CD-ROM produced in our facilities. Since exact image viewing has been shown to improve customer service performance levels, we are now positioned to help our clients strengthen another aspect of their relationship with their customers.”

According to John Gillis, Chief Operating Officer at INSCI, “This partnership adds a new dimension to the way we do business. For customers, per-page pricing removes the sales barrier of capital investment while delivering significant cost savings. As customer needs change, we plan to offer migration from page pricing to a systems purchasing through NEPS, Moore's technology subsidiary.”

INSCI recently announced a joint marketing agreement with NEPS, a network and enterprise software solutions company that was acquired by Moore in April, 1996.

Moore's Business Communications Services is one of North America's largest IT outsource providers that specialize in statement processing. The Business Communication Services unit currently processes over one billion pages annually. It operates four information processing facilities in North America.
