Fuji Xerox relationship extended
FUJI XEROX CHOOSES INSCI HIGH-VOLUME DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM PRODUCTS FOR DISTRIBUTION IN SINGAPORE
Westborough, MA (January 11, 1999) . . . . INSCI Corp (Nasdaq:INSI) today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Fuji Xerox Singapore to market and sell INSCI software products and services throughout Singapore. This agreement is an extension of the original agreement between INSCI and Fuji Xerox, in which Fuji Xerox acts as a reseller of INSCI software products in several other Asian countries. According to the announcement by INSCI Chairman and CEO E. Ted Prince, Ph.D., Fuji Xerox will focus its sales and marketing efforts on customers who need to view production print documents on-line and on Internet Web sites, which is becoming a rapidly increasing customer requirement.
Prince said, "While we also directly sell our products throughout Asia, a large market for document management software, Fuji Xerox continues to do an excellent job of reselling our products there. Fuji Xerox recognizes our award-winning products as the best solution for their customers. Additionally, we are impressed with the level of customer service provided by Fuji Xerox to its customers who have purchased our COINSERVÔ suite of software products."
INSCI is a leading provider of digital document repository software and Internet-enabled printing capabilities that are integral to the rapidly emerging electronic and Internet commerce markets. INSCIs software stores production volumes of digital documents such as reports, statements, invoices, bills, and other types of commercial documents used in electronic and Internet commerce. Once stored, these digital documents can be used in a variety of ways to enable Internet commerce. This includes web-based viewing of bills and statements by customers, as well as use by customer service, finance departments and other corporate areas. INSCIs software allows these documents to be combined with scanned images and other document types, such as e-mail, so that all related documents can be seen at once in a single view, and then printed or reprinted as necessary.
INSCI Corp is a leader in delivering an electronic document repository with integrated Internet, imaging, workflow, print-on-demand, electronic distribution and archive (COLD) software for the enterprise level, high volume production market. INSCIs software products enable customers to improve their services through electronic access to documents (e.g. invoices, statements, reports, etc.); provide financial savings through elimination of paper and microfiche; and provide the foundation for the digital document "back office" for electronic commerce applications. The Company licenses its products to over 500 customers worldwide, in healthcare, insurance, banking and financial services, and various other industries. The Companys products are sold in over 100 countries through the INSCI direct sales organization and its marketing partnerships with Xerox, Unisys, Moore and others.
